LEFT BROKEN is one of the newest up and coming bands
to
come from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. They currently DO NOT
have a record label but are recording their first full album.
If you get the chance, go to Thunder's Tavern (located at
1340 Market Street, Pascagoula, MS) and see them perform
live on Fridays or Saturdays. Call Thunders Tavern before to
check their playing schedule.
The band consists of (pictured from left to right): Tommy (bass guitar), Zach (guitar),
Dean (vocals / guitar), Ryan (drums) and Dill (guitar). These
guys know how to rock.
I drove an hour to see them just because I heard one track
off their demo CD. They brought down the house and from

a bit
faster. They have many pictures, most from Thunders Tavern, and even some
video footage of
their concerts.
I spoke with Dean and told him I had a blast. He was a genuinely nice guy who seemed
to love
his audience. During a few parts of the show he came out and walked through
the audience
while singing.
After the show I found a friend of mine who said just a week earlier he wanted a CD
from
them, but since they did not have anymore on hand, Dean walked out to his car
and grabbed
his CD from his own CD player and handed it to my friend. That just goes to show that being
a rockstar does not go to everyone's head.
From what I have seen and heard from others I expect to see this band landing some pretty
big gigs in the next few months. Check them out and show some support to your local bands.
