Once again I have to post this video. I have never seen anything this cool. The video is entitled
Portable
Autonomous Sentry demonstration. It is about a 26 year old guy from Jacksonville, FL. named David. David
created a sentry robot using a paintball gun, a laptop, and some programming in C#.
If you visit his website you will see
that he made six versions, the 6th being the one in the video. He
says he
is almost done with a new version, it is about 90% done. He says he will sell it at $1500 a unit with a
computer, and about $500-$700 stand alone. These prices do not include guns.
Another cool invention worth noting on our news section. Check out him and his
Portable Autonomous Paintball Gun Sentry Robot here:
Normally I do not put information
in the news that does not pertain to Zero 3 Computers, but I felt
the
need to put this video here. This is one of the funniest videos
I have seen on the internet in a long time. If
you have ever worked in IT you can probably relate to almost everything
in this video. First let me give the
non IT people a general overview:
The video begins with a "Web Dude" playing Halo while working. After a few seconds he receives a
call
from the "Sales Guy" regarding the website is down.
After checking the website (which has cleverly placed
as "Skip-Intro Pro 2.0 is now available!" on the web
page) for a "FAKE" company called PlasTrolTech Inc.
he
sees the website is UP. The sales guys insists that its down and
makes the web dude reboot a perfectly
good website. Hilarity follows as the web dude tries to get the
site back with his boss breathing down his
neck and little help from associates all while playing Halo. Be
sure to watch until the end as it just gets
funnier and funnier.
Warning: The video contains adult humor
/ language.
After watching the video please check out their site and give
credit where credit is due. Also I would like
to
remind you PlasTrolTech Inc. does not exist, its fake.....but
clever. Visit the website and ask for a sequel
like everyone else.
